Overview
Private Chat is a real-time communication platform designed around ephemeral messaging principles. Rooms are limited to two participants and automatically expire after ten minutes, permanently deleting all associated data. The application uses secure token-based room authorization, anonymous identities, Upstash Realtime, and Redis for fast communication while preserving user privacy.

Challenges Faced
Challenge: Ensuring reliable room expiration, maintaining real-time synchronization, securing access control, and permanently deleting session data without affecting performance. Solution: Leveraged Redis TTL (Time-To-Live) keys to trigger automatic data expiration, used Upstash Realtime for serverless event broadcasting, and implemented lightweight JWTs for secure, stateless room authentication.
